JUST SAD
Just sad for the
feeling and warmth,
talking to God though I know he knows all.
I'm alone and it's fine. The goal
is shifting and roaring to find my soul.
I just want a hug and a cry,
the forest beneath hooves or a highway is good.
I'm alone and so strong by myself.
Wind is my water and songs are my food...
...
The kitchen walls are breathing, the milk is in the tea
and window glass is streaming like waves in the sea.
The wind twists in my hair and in my nose there's a snot.
I'll come back home riding, and I'll be drinking a lot! |
DESCRIPTION:
Selisi Rigow: The whole scene of the song is an unknown
forest and a traveler with no home is riding through it while searching
for his goal.
I "wrote" this song riding my white horse through the forest. I've been
singing the first part to him for months thinking how good the song will
end up to be (it actually didn't turn out as good). I
felt in a way sad, but for no particular reason. Just for healing myself
from all the little remains of problems and hurts.
Being alone has usually a very bad meaning for me, I
am hungry of company and love of others, but I want to make myself
strong and independent, and that was why I wrote that it was fine, to
make it fine.
The second part I also "wrote" on my horse. In search
of that healing I am wishing to cry a bit and I am wishing for that love
but I'm trying to find it still being alone, in some other places and
ways. Traveling without a destination has always seemed like the best
thing to me and I often dreamed about it.
...
The last part of the song actually doesn't belong to
the story. I was about to finish my song adding a few different things
but somehow, when my friends were staying a few days with me, that one
evening we've decided to have fun and I made this into a parody.
Since we saw "Mad Mod" episode of Teen Titans for fun,
we were now having fun by watching those "hypno screens" we found on
YouTube (not to mention drinking the tea), so everything we looked at
afterwards was moving.
Romi often makes fun of dramatic appearances, like a brave warrior
riding a beautiful horse, the wind in his hair and a snot in his nose...
So I just had to put that in this song.
